For Kevin Bieksa
A Tribute to a Canucks Legend
At Better Way Lighting, we take pride in crafting unique and meaningful tributes, and we were honored to create Kevin Bieksa’s retirement gift—a framed display featuring an authentic piece of the Rogers Arena stanchion. This one-of-a-kind piece commemorates his legendary 2011 playoff goal, a moment forever etched in Vancouver Canucks history. Designed with precision and attention to detail, the display combines high-quality materials, custom graphics, and an interactive audio feature that allows fans to relive John Shorthouse’s iconic goal call at the press of a button.
Crafting a One-of-a-Kind Tribute
The process behind this piece was just as special as the final product. From meticulously fabricating the frame to color-matching the Canucks’ signature blue, every step was carefully executed to ensure a premium and polished finish. The integration of an embedded sound module required custom wiring and programming, allowing Bieksa to hear the legendary call of his stanchion goal whenever he wanted. Seeing the final display come together was an incredibly rewarding experience for our team, and we were proud to present a tribute worthy of such a respected player and unforgettable moment in hockey history.
