Nothing says game show more than a bright array of neon lights. This is one of the types of film lighting equipment we specialize in, so General Mills came to us to help advertise their new line of Gluten Free Cereal in this game show themed commercial. This commercial required a whopping 150+ RGB-BI Tubes, a third of which were custom made.
Our tubes are weatherproof and sturdy. This installation was up for several months over the summer. Don’t hesitate to reach out and ask us about your ideas for long term installations and events.
Upon Mark's Work Wearhouse's request, we were able to perfectly create the director’s vision for this commercial and bring it to life. With some generators in the woods and a great team, the tube install only took a couple of hours to complete. We had a lot of fun doing this.
Expertly utilizing our tubes as a striking architectural statement, 10 Star worked with us to bring their vision into reality. Utilizing our extensive fabrication capabilities, we were able to quickly produce bespoke hardware to safely and precisely position our tubes to our clients exacting standards.
10 star came to us asking if we could help with a vision a client of theirs had in mind. They wanted to create a unique jungle oasis experience for their customers, right in the city, and we were able to help bring that vision to life.
One thing we know well about lighting is that every situation is unique, and that can especially be said for this project. Installing our tubes on the Olympic Bobsled track in Whistler was an exciting challenge for us, both to install and come up with a lighting technique.
For the Nintendo Switch "Play to Win" commercial, we transformed the Vancouver set with our rental RGBW tubes and decoders, bringing vibrant energy and dynamic color to this high-energy production. These tools allowed us to quickly and efficiently light the set, ensuring every shot radiated excitement and visual impact.
Collaborating with Expedition Studios for Intel’s “Do” campaign, we were tasked with creating immersive lighting and stylized spaceship control panels. With limited time to execute, we quickly developed the artwork, carefully crafting intricate designs to fill the panels.
We created a unique lightsaber hockey stick for the Vancouver Canucks' promotional video. Combining the sleek design of a hockey stick with the vibrant glow of a lightsaber, our custom prop became the visual centerpiece, enhancing the story’s energy and futuristic vibe.
We take pride in creating unique and meaningful pieces, and we were honored to be commissioned for Kevin Bieksa’s retirement gift. To celebrate his unforgettable stanchion goal, we crafted a framed display featuring an authentic piece of the Rogers Arena stanchion—an iconic symbol of one of the greatest moments in Vancouver Canucks history. It was a privilege to contribute to this tribute for a player who left a lasting impact on the team and its fans.
We were asked to retrofit multiple classic 3-way railroad lanterns provided by the show’s property department. The project required each direction to be independently dimmable with high-powered COB LEDs, wireless control, and battery power. Our Pager 6-channel CRMX decoders were used to control the chosen COB LEDs.
We also equipped antique oil lanterns and molotov cocktails with LED effects, providing safety and predictability on-set while casting a convincing light on the actors using them.
This antique projector lamp needed to be controllable, have a much brighter output, and project a very clean circular beam with sharp edges. We rebuilt the interior using a high-powered 5600K COB, gave it DMX control with a continuous current supply, and a new heat resistant glass optic stack to cast the perfect circle.
For Sarah McLachlan’s “Fumbling Towards Ecstacy” tour we worked with Ryan Kell, the production manager, to develop an installation of candles that would present on top of the piano throughout the tour.
Designed with optimized spectral output for plant growth as the driving tenet, the terrarium spot was a clean-sheet design, custom tailored for our client's exacting specifications. Utilizing industry leading LED COB technology and precision optical elements, our design team was able to create a first of its kind track lighting fixture.
